“2017 Hehai Precision Medicine Forum” and “Launch Ceremony of Precision Medicine Center of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital” were organized recently in Tianjin by Tianjin Medical University General Hospital and co-organized by Shanghai Runda Rongjia Biological Company Ltd.

It marks the establishment of the first comprehensive precision medicine center in China that integrates clinical diagnosis, genetic diagnosis and technology transformation. The center has a highly specialized doctorate team and international advanced hardware facilities to conduct genetic testing, data processing and analysis, bioinformatics interpretation, genetic counseling, clinical diagnosis, treatment and R&D work. These can help to provide effective support in clinical diagnosis, medicine guidance treatment, disease prevention and control for tumor targeted therapy, tumor gene screening, prenatal and postnatal care, prenatal diagnosis, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, thrombotic diseases, genetic metabolic diseases and infections.

Experts who attending the meeting said this will greatly push forward the development of clinical diagnosis for major diseases and precision medicine industrialization.
