The “HbA1c Testing Reagent and Chromatographic Column Set”, which was co-developed and produced by Shanghai Huizhong Medical Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Huachen Biochemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Huizhong” and “Shanghai Huachen”) won the second prize of 2017 Shanghai Jiading District Science and Technology Progress Award.

Shanghai Huizhong and Shanghai Huachen are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Shanghai Runda Medical Technology Co., Ltd. They successfully overcome the difficulties in developing a special chromatography column and assay kit, which effectively leading to build the first domestic A1c Analyzer.

The assay kit can accurately measure the concentration of glycated hemoglobin in human body，which is used as important basis for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes. The results can be traced to IFCC standard materials and products have been CE certified.
